Drive Route 49 until the road runs out. That’s where you’ll find us: twelve wooden chalets glowing in Town Square, filled with the work of New Hampshire artisans and ringed by the White Mountains. Come for the handmade gifts. Stay for the moment the lights come on. Alpine Advent is a holiday market in Waterville Valley, NH. All you need is your gift list, your camera and your warmest hat.
2026 Dates and Hours
Alpine Advent is open every Saturday and Sunday from November 28 through December 27, plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve: twelve market days in all. It opens with a Black Friday Preview Night.
- Black Friday Preview Night: Friday, November 27 · 4–8 pm
- Saturdays: November 28, December 5, 12, 19, and 26 · 1–7 pm
- Sundays: November 29, December 6, 13, 20, and 27 · Noon–5 pm
- Christmas Eve: Thursday, December 24 · Noon–4 pm
- New Year’s Eve: Thursday, December 31 · 4–8 pm, with fireworks

Good to Know
- Admission: free
- Parking: free throughout the village
- Paying: every chalet takes cards
- Food and drink: waffles, mulled wine, hot cocoa and festive treats at the market, and Waterville Valley’s restaurants are steps away
- What to wear: the market is outdoors in the mountains, so dress in warm layers and suitable footwear
- Getting around: Town Square has paved paths
